Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox Sign

We currently use it for contract signatures, W-9 forms, board meeting minutes which are signed by our board president, MOUs, agreements, and amendments. We also use it for staff to sign acknowledgments of policy and procedures. We honestly use it for anything that requires our clients to sign or if something external needs to be signed by our internal staff now that we work in a hybrid environment.
  • Easy to use.
  • Nice customer service.
  • Good instructions.
  • Allowing to create folders to organize the contracts.
  • Being able to edit the contract if an email is incorrect instead of cancelling.
  • Being able to create a template to allow to the cc person to stay.
  • Ability to execute signatures virtaully
  • Integration with SF
  • Integration with SP
  • Cost savings.
  • Reduced paper.
  • Faster turnaround time with getting contracts back.
It is less expensive and assists nonprofits. That was the biggest factor for us, especially when it came to the integration with Salesforce and SharePoint. Although we do not use it now, we plan on using it other applications were way out of our price range, and DocuSign was much more manageable.

Are you happy with Dropbox Sign's feature set?

Yes

Did Dropbox Sign live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Dropbox Sign go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Dropbox Sign again?

Yes

I think it is great to send out contracts and get signatures, any scenario where we need to either sign or get a signature I think it is great - area to improve is when sending a template like the W-9 forms we have to constantly enter the email of the person who needs to get cc'ed with the completed form.

Using Dropbox Sign

3 - Professional Development, Administration and Research. We ensure that we process our contracts, MOUs, W-9 and any additional signatures that we require externally. We also send our board of director's president the minutes to sign from the meetings. IT is so useful to be able to check the progress of documents and to send reminders as well as create templates.
1 - We have our Salesforce Administrator who works in Dropbox and she is currently training someone to be her backup and is training her the back end of Dropbox Sign. The Salesforce Admin understands in the in and outs of technology and is streamlining our technology internally and externally to be more efficient.
  • Signature of Contracts
  • Signature of MOUs
  • Signature of W-9
  • Templates
  • Salesforce Integration
  • Finally are able to send out w-9
  • Was able to afford more users so giving more team members the ability to send out documents for signature
  • Endless possibilities :)
Because this product has been affordable which is so important for a non profit however it is also of good quality so its not like you get a cheap version of this you get a quality product at an affordable price and that is so important for a non profit.

Evaluating Dropbox Sign and Competitors

Yes - DocuSign - it became unaffordable and was limited on what we were able to send out
  • Scalability
  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Ease of Use
Again the product was very affordable and of good quality. Has the features we needed. Also for a reasonable price it integrates with Salesforce and with Office 365 which is great because it is the products we use on a regular bases in our office which provides a seamless process internally.
I would not change anything - we are happy with our selection. We feel we did a good amount of research and demos to come to the decision we made. We were provided the right tools with our choice, customer service was great, the sales rep was thorough and felt we felt heard when we discussed what we could afford.

Dropbox Sign Implementation

I can not say it enough - this was the easiest implementation we have had with an application. I became an admin, I added the person who would be the back up admin, we moved forward with adding accounts and that was it. All the users we have were self sufficient enough to move forward with very little guidance and the guidance they received was in house.
Change management was minimal - Really there were not lessons learned - this was a very easy implementation and we were able to hit the floor running with the application. There was not change management so really there is not much to say in this area other then keep making words in the area to move to the next question.
  • We did not have any issues

Configuring Dropbox Sign

We have created a few templates, and it is great to use. The only downfall I felt was that when we added a person to get cc in the template, the user did not receive it. We have to add the person each time we use the template. This can be inconvenient when it is sent to a big batch. Just a suggestion
Really this is such a simple app to configure. I would say to ensure you have security measures properly configured. Had an admin to the account and have a back up admin. Ensure any auto emails or reminders are set up. No sharing of login to ensure you know who is doing what.
No - we have not done any customization to the interface
No - we have not done any custom code
We did not do any customized configurations in our environment. We do not have the need however love that we can when we feel ready to. This shows that the application is adaptable to your environment which is great. We love that Dropbox allows this to take place within the application.

Using Dropbox Sign

I think this is a great product. It is easy to use, easy to administer, and reduces so much paper. It is a fraction of the cost of other products, which for our nonprofit is helpful. We don't use it yet; however, it integrates with Salesforce and SharePoint and we plan to use that at a later time. I rate it an eight because there are some areas of improvement.

Dropbox Sign Reliability

Between the easy to use app, the pricing, and the team at dropbox. This app is hands down great! Easy to use. Anyone can start using it and if not I am sure the team at dropbox will guide you to implement. The cost especially for us as a nonprofit is sustainable which is great.
I have not encountered this because it was so easy to use however just seeing how they created a community is great and shows that they are here for their users. I am going to say I am sure they are available and ready to assist when needed. The fact that we have not yet experienced an outage and issues says a lot though :)
Again I cannot say it is enough this app is simple. We are preparing to be able to integrate with Salesforce and Sharepoint at a very small cost per user (these are the platforms we use) and it is great that they have the option to integrate these apps. We love this app

  • Salesforce
  • SharePoint
We are looking forward to integrating Salesforce and SharePoint with our Dropbox Sign to sync up the apps we use within our organization. The cost per license is not outrageous and our non profit can sustain the cost. This will make our process seamless because we can send directly from Salesforce items that need to be signed and it will save into our SharePoint which is great!
