Overall Satisfaction with ExakTime
We have 48 employees using the time tracker to
track their time each day for payroll. Not
sure if they are lazy or do not understand the way to choose the right
job. We find that apple phones transport
data better than android phones. We have
a few employees that come in almost every day to say they could not clock out.

Pros
- Track the location to the employee
- Provide payroll information
- Reports are prety good
- Easy to download to phones
- Start - stop easy to understand
Cons

- Like to set 1-2 employees to just one job location all the time
- Do you need to change the set up code so often?
- I would like to create a report using specific fields
- Can I set a time they cannot start before?
- Sometimes the log in or out data does not send to me the same day.
- Ability to clock in 30 min before the shift and stand around
We tried the photo id but felt the employees would boycott if
they were forced to use it. Keep it
simple I was told. Hard to teach an old
dog new tricks! Love the geotracking so
I can see where the employee is at clock in and out. Would be nice if it was more user friendly.
Better reports for that feature. We had the rugged clocks the employees just
gave out the key fobs to others to clock them in. Did not work for us.

They were my third choice because they would work with QB. Love the reminder to clock in and out that woould be usefull. Open the Time Clock window in the app.Select a job or task, Select Clock In, Select Clock Out when you’re done for the day. I did not like the layout.

new construction, we have Forman and Estimators who bid the jobs, I also have a
crew that takes care of the trucks.

after Exak Time and updates employees and adds and removes locations. I also am the one who does Accounts Payable
for our bills, I do Accounts receivable, invoices and payments for our customers, Answer phones and make appointments
for our Customer Service, order supplies for trucks and office supplies as
well.

Evaluating ExakTime and Competitors
Yes - Paper and pen, was a mess, people would show up
to work any time they choose and the Foramen were responsible for tracking all employees
in their crew and directing the crews work load, making sure the safety of the
crew and tools were used properly. This
took the responsibility away from them and put it on the employee. In the past employees were paid when they did
not even show up that day.

I had 4 employees test out 2 different programs
and I liked the other one for the reporting features, better GPS tracking but
the employees liked this one for the ease of use. Se we choose your program to make it easy for
the workers to do their part. We have employees that can not read so they like the red and green color of stop and go

No I did not, did not know that was an option, As I said I
have not had to use support other then as we got started and had a few hick ups
but they were great. They answered all
our questions even if some of them were no the program does not do that. I
guess the best support is one that is not needed because the product works
great and does its job right.

Yes - Our employees use the mobile interface to send me text messages
if they forgot to clock in or out, they send me text messages if they are logged
in to the wrong address and I send them messages if they forgot to clock out
for lunch. It is very helpful to communicate with each other
