Overall Satisfaction with Gong

We use Gong to record and transcribe Sales calls , as well as help with follow up tasks, and deal pipeline/forecast tracking. Gong has a wealth of features that enables me to go back and review what I said on a call, what the prospect said, what I need to do in order to follow up effectively/action items, and more. It helps us track key questions and phrases said during each stage of the sales process to improve our discovery framework.

There are a lot of great features in Gong. The main ones are easy to use but there are some more technical analysis features that I wasn't aware of how to set up or use. However it seems our ops team knows so we are all set.
Yes, Gong has provided accurate and actionable insights, it always picks up on the action steps from my call transcript based on the words said, in case I forget anything in my notes.
Yes, Gong has helped us track how often competitors are mentioned, industry concerns such as changes in advertising laws, and how often features are asked for, and what resonates with customers during demos. It is very helpful to be able to keyword search across a wealth of calls during various dates and across team members or run overall reports to find exactly what you're looking for.
Gong is the most sophisticated conversational intelligence tool I have used. The speaker separation is very good and the action items always catch the key points from the call. When the notetaker joins the call, it's reliable and does not interrupt the call at all. Recordings finish quickly, and are analyzed and ready for action. Gong also provides additional functionality around pipeline and deal, forecasting, as well as potential risks to the deal and how often you're contacting each company, which is helpful to me so I can ensure I'm keeping momentum.

Gong is great for tech sales teams who have frequent online calls on Zoom, Google Meet, etc with prospects and customers and would like to ensure accurate notes, timeline follow ups, and seamless handoff/customer service experiences. It also works well for coaching to ensure large teams are all using specific frameworks on calls and bringing up certain questions or topics (training usage). Gong would not be useful for a team with mostly in person meetings or a self service product where customers are not spoken to often.
