Overall Satisfaction with Gong

We utilize Gong weekly for call listening and live listening for our team. I typically listen to 5 calls per week and 3 live calls per week. It allows me to coach my team and live listen to important calls to ensure were not missing an opportunity for a sale.

Gong is very easy to use! You can easily access a representatives call by just searching for their name. You have many filters to use if you are looking for a specific call. You can also search for specific words within a call. For example, at one point we wanted to see how many calls talk about someone being a cash buyer. We were able to search the word "cash" and find these calls!
Gong not only allows me to live listen to each call to help with the sale, Gong also allows my Account Executives to listen to the calls from the Sales Development Representative to qualify them. This allowed the Account Executive to get a feel for the client's personality and any hesitations not noted in their notes on the Salesforce opportunity.
If we were looking for a trend within our customer base, one way we would utilize Gong was to search key words to see how many customers are speaking upon this trend and then we could see how many times it was brought up as well.

In my experience, Gong is really great if you are looking for an additional coaching for your team that is on the phones. It also is great for an IC to re-listen to a call of theirs or of their colleagues. We not only use it for individual call listening, we also use it for team meetings to show off a great call. If you don't have a team that is on the phones or mainly communicates via text and email than Gong would not be a great software to use.
