Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Connect

We use GoTo Connect for our VoIP phones. It allows our employees working remotely to feel as if they are in the same office. They can answer calls that come in, see which employees are on the phone and transfer calls to other employees and insurance company claims offices. GoTo Connect acts as part of our contingency plan. If the power is off at our main location, their home office phones will still work as usual.

  • We have cost savings compared to the previous phone service
We used an MSA to help us implement the system. We paid them a fair price for a quick, quality installation. I had them give me a quick overview of the system and I have rarely had questions since then.
We don't use meetings or messaging through GoTo Connect. Messaging with our customers is done through our customer database.

We use AT&T for cell phones, but we chose GoTo Connect for our VOIP phones because our MSA recommended it.

It has been appropriate for all of our uses. I use flip phones with another carrier in case we lose power at our main location. One of our remote workers has a time lag when answering calls. When she answers a call on her home office phone, there is a few seconds lag and the caller thinks she isn't there. I think that is more a function of her internet service not being optimal. She lives in a rural area.

Using GoTo Connect

5 - Insurance agency owners/managers, sales agents and customer service agents
1 - I have basic IT skills for managing an office. I have taken classes on the evolution of technology and have shadowed our outside IT person when they have implemented our systems. The skills also require someone somewhat detailed-oriented and patient with the end users.
