Overall Satisfaction with Heap

We use Heap in our org to create digital funnels and journeys which tells us where the drops are happening. Additionally, the Paths chart in Heap has been a huge asset for us understanding the customer journey. Heap as a product has given us the capabilities to uncover journey dropouts and it is being heavily used to develop an understanding of user behavior and identify issues like unwanted redirects which we didn't know were happening.
  • Build a conversion funnel
  • Identify unintended paths using the paths from feature
  • Map out nonlinear journeys with forking option
  • Generate reports on wait times between urls
  • Creating an event becomes difficult when proper dimensions are not selected
  • No option for creating an opposing event
  • Alerts or notifications when things are not going well like an alert system
We use both Heap and Glassbox, however, there are some unique Heap features which distinguishes it amongst the competitors. The users view is one that has the most details in comparison. Fork in a journey feature is one its USPs.

Do you think Heap delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Heap's feature set?

Yes

Did Heap live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Heap go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Heap again?

Yes

Where Heap is well suited is when you have a proper funnel build and want to identify conversion rates, drop rate and what actions did the users took when you drill down.
Heap doesn't work well where you want to create segments based on certain criteria or user behavior. Also, adding more granular details to events is something that they should look at.
