Overall Satisfaction with Heap
Heap has made the product team's life tenfold easier to understand user interactions. Decide on which features are helpful, and work on user experience based upon audience segment. It helped understand the full user journey who is using multiple product within our portfolio.
- Unique user ID can provide you a single point of contact to fetch complete customer journey despite of which product he's using
- Flexible and allows you to create a wide variety of queries
- UI of the dashboard is very intuitive and customizable
- Mobile access could be better. Sometime's you don't need complete analysis but it could be handy if you can access using mobile and get only important informations like dashboards and live status of running queries
- Getting a start differs from most of other similar products. This could be a good thing, but non-tech people who manages product may feel little discomfort in the beginning
- There should be multiple boilersplates to start with instead of configure at each step
- There should be easy way to segment user based upon some parameters instead of creating environment. Each product have different kind of audience so there should be a wasy to differentiate between them
User tagging and Live tracking is one of the best implementation I've seen with Heap compare to GA & HJ
