Overall Satisfaction with Highspot

Highspot is being used as a sales enablement tool, and it has solved many issues at our company. Our Marketers upload current Marketing materials to Highspot, and our sales team uses this content (print, downloading, pitching). Prior to Highspot, our marketing materials [were] all over the place, and sales members never knew the right place to find it. Highspot is a One-Stop shop that makes it easy for everyone to use, and all materials are very searchable and easy to find. We love it.

  • Makes searching for materials very easy - even using key-words that are in documents can be searched
  • Their analytics are not very user friendly, not organized strategically, and downloading reports is not ideal
  • Can't see the pitch analytics when you BCC people
  • Would be nice if their "recommended content" can be chosen by the marketers, not by A.I.
  • Pitching out content and seeing the analytics of Pitches
  • The searchability of Highspot
  • Creating organized landing pages and sales plays with talking points for our sales team
  • Highspot positively impacts the use of marketing content - time worth [spending] on the creation of it
  • Better connection with customers
  • Less time spent on back and forth communication finding materials
Showpad is very similar to Highspot, but we found Highspot more user-friendly and [has] a better interface, so I have not actually used Showpad.

As for SharePoint, we still use this for other reasons at our company, but we used to share files with our sales team, and it is basically a massive online file sharing folder that can get messy very quickly. The content is not easy to find; you can only search words that are in the title, it takes forever to load, you can't pitch materials directly from the system, and there is no analytics about materials.

Highspot is great for companies that have tons of marketing content. Highspot makes content easy to use and at the fingertips of everyone who has access to it. It has made our content get used more, and there is less back and forth between our sales teams and marketing looking for stuff.

It also shows how effective our marketing materials are and helps us gauge what the sales team is using the most.

I think Highspot is not meant for companies that are VERY small or have a 1 - 5 person sales and marketing team because they would just not need such a robust tool.
