Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot CRM

In my role, HubSpot is used to organize cold outreach and coordinate sales processes with other employees doing the same. I use the Outlook plugin often for its templates feature. In addition to all of this, the customizable reports help me stay on track and set attainable goals. HubSpot was a huge improvement from what my last company was using as well.

Pros

  • Highly customizable customer and company searches help with follow ups.
  • Reports keep me on track.
  • Templates in Outlook translate in formatting flawlessly.

Cons

  • Activity feeds in contact or company profiles can be jumbled at times.
  • Scheduling outreach and sending emails from the HubSpot platform doesn't always result in a perfectly formatted email.
  • I'm relatively new to the company and HubSpot, but I can imagine having things a bit more automated helps.
It's worlds better than the in-house CRM my previous company used. I have used Salesforce briefly in the past but prefer HubSpot. With so many customizable options, I don't see a need for a company to have an in-house CRM without at least consulting a company like HubSpot.
Downloaded marketing reports from social media and on our website have been a great source of leads. Getting a list of contacts that downloaded reports every now and then from our Marketing department is a huge help.
I was not part of the selection process, but I have used other products like HubSpot very little in the past. I like the ease of use of HubSpot versus Salesforce, but I understand why one might choose the other.

I can see HubSpot being of use to any salesperson in small to medium-sized companies that need to keep track of their leads. Where I can see HubSpot potentially struggling is with larger companies that have more points of outreach to sift through. With the current formatting of activity feeds, you may have to scroll back a while to find important messages.
