Overall Satisfaction with Insightly
Insightly is used company-wide as our CRM system of choice. We use Insightly to track the development of projects across the board, and not just in relation to sales. It allows our employees to keep track of a project's progress and make sure that everyone is on the same page.
Pros
- Insightly has a clean, simple user-interface.
- It requires very little training.
- It's cheap compared to other CRM options.
Cons
- Its reporting functionality could use some improvement.
- It's difficult to send emails through the CRM.
- At least once or twice a week, we find that it goes down for a few minutes.
We have achieved positive outcomes related to our use of Insightly. Insightly has allowed us to keep every member of our team on the same page when it comes to project status. We are not executing extremely complicated research or sales processes so Salesforce wouldn't make a lot of sense for us. It would be nice if Insightly was a little more reliable when it comes to reporting, and the occasional feature that just doesn't work for whatever reason. But again, that's to be expected because of the low-cost.
Insightly is a lower cost option that does 85% of what Salesforce does for a much lower price-point. It can't stack-up with the reporting, reliability, or complex sales tracking that Salesforce does, but it gets the job done. I also have no fear that we could fairly easily migrate away from Insightly if we had to. I don't feel locked in, the way I did with Salesforce. This is perfect for a small agile company.
