Overall Satisfaction with Iterable

We use the Iterable platform as our main platform of customer-facing communication. We are able to communicate to our with our customer base via multiple channels which include email, sms, push for web notifications. We also use it to create customer-driven lifecycle journey workflows that allow us to automate communications at a set rate.
  • Data management
  • Integration
  • Support
  • Template builder
  • Some basic functionality that is not out of beta yet
  • Email throttling is still in beta, make sure to request it
  • Email send quantity governance I in beta and we need this
  • Scalability
  • Relevant timing and content communications
  • Putting the customer first
I am able to set up and decide on what channels I use and when. I can create segments, identify customer engagement and set up different timing and cadence messaging to customers without asking my data science team for a list or for metrics around engagement. Iterable also has a feature in the journey flows that allows me to test different channels and then make decisions in optimization based on the channels that a customer better engages with it has saved us time in building templates so we don’t have to do 60 versions of something we can have a handful of templates that dynamically populate images, URLs, and content based on user profile fields
With Iterable, I am able to put the customers' preferences first by partnering and integrating with Digioh, which allows us to create and manage our own manage, preferences form, where we can get information from the customer and save it to their user profile, we can also utilize journeys to send to customers based on their engagement through the channels and timing that is best for the individual instead of sending out a blast to everyone with the same contact through the same channel at the same time.
Iterable has a clean easy to use, user interface similar to Emarsys in that it’s very easy to use, but Iterable has a lot more capabilities than Emarsys. Iterable has many of the same functionalities as Salesforce except Salesforce is super expensive and has a terrible user interface, very unfriendly to marketers, and they nickel and dime you for every ad on that you want. Acoustic is very difficult to use in every way very counterintuitive not marketing-friendly at all. You basically need a developer to set it up and help you run it. Iterable is not that way you set it up and if you got everything in place then you’re ready to go

Do you think Iterable delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Iterable's feature set?

Yes

Did Iterable live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Iterable go as expected?

No

Would you buy Iterable again?

Yes

Great platform if you do B2C and have different campaign and a lifecycle to manage. If you want to control the timing, cadence and logic criteria behind your sends, identify segments based on engagement and also make ai driven decisions and channel optimizations. Not recommended for a mom-and-pop solution who don’t have a lot of volume or use cases.
