Overall Satisfaction with Jobvite

It is mainly used by recruiting but whenever there is an open position, the decision makers (both hiring manager and interviewers) are expected to give their feedback on JobVite. I believe the hiring manager also has the ability to look through all the resumes and information submitted on JobVite.
  • Jobvite is really good at keeping things organized and making it easy to track a candidate's progress.
  • Jobvite is really good at creating an easy to use forum for writing comments about the candidate.
  • It can be tricky for employees to figure out how to have Jobvite post for them on LinkedIn.
  • Sometimes there is a disconnect when a referral applies on their own through Jobvite. There should always be a way for someone to mention who they know already working at the company.
  • Better customer service - candidates always get a response and can track their applications themselves. It encourages a follow up "rejected" email too and takes the pressure off the recruiter to have to write something carefully.

I do not work on the HR team and was not responsible for comparing products.
I would recommend it. With the number of applicants companies get these days, you definitely need something and most applicants have come to expect Jobvite to be used. It may or may not be appropriate for a very small company, but I do believe it boosts credibility by using a system like Jobvite.
