Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4

Outside of importing my staff and their information, we haven't had to do much in regards to user management.
We use KnowBe4 to better educate and train our end-users and staff to mitigate the growing security risks in the world. We are using the product across the board and raising staff awareness in every department. I've used and implemented KnowBe4 at just about every company I've worked for and really stand behind the product. There are many out there which are similar in intent but I've yet to find another company's offering even remotely as robust and well put together as KnowBe4's. They are worth every dime.
  • The interface is extremely clean and easy to understand. I spend less time trying to figure out where something is and more time building training plans or phishing tests.
  • The out of the box offerings are some of the best you'll find. Eventually you'll want to start customizing your phishing tests but you could definitely get away with just utilizing their in-place templates.
  • The worst part of the KnowBe4 experience is dealing with their Sales staff. I've never come across a Sales team as aggressive and borderline obnoxious as theirs is. They leave you almost no room to think and aggressively press you into making a quick rash decision. If you hint that you may not be interested or have the funding at that particular moment, they suddenly bring out "random" promotions and special deals, which leads me to believe that no matter how low of a price I get, I'm probably not getting the best possible price.
  • The price CAN be considered somewhat on the high side. As stated before, they ALWAYS have a promotion going and will make it seem as if you're getting a steal of a deal by offering you something like "You can get our GOLD tier for the price of our SILVER tier!!" which.... is something they literally have offered everybody I've talked to who also uses the product.
  • No downtime due to restoring our network from backups because of a ransomware attack.
  • Our users and staff are more security-minded and while the main focus was always email security, they've started to be more critical elsewhere as well.
The only other alternative we've used was Trend Micro Phish Insight. In all honesty, it wasn't a bad product. It was a very simple product... but it wasn't a bad product. That said, when compared to KnowBe4 it's like comparing a rollerskate to an F16 jet. They both can get you from A to B but one of them is drastically better suited for it.
Other than initial questions and setup, I've never had to call or work with their support so I really don't have a lot of insight here regarding them. The product is very well put together and extremely easy to navigate and work with so I doubt you'll be contacting support very often, if ever at all.

As stated before, my end users and staff are now a lot more security-focused and aware of the creativity of attacks. The creativity piece is a big part because the threat landscape is changing each and every day. KnowBe4 does a fantastic job of adapting to these changes and adjusting their offerings to ensure you are on the up and up.
None are more important to me personally than the click rate of each individual phishing test. I also like to see high rates when it comes to training modules but I'm more concerned with whether or not that training is paying off. Low click rates tell me that the training is, in fact, paying off.
At my last company we had several incidents in which email messages were an attack vector for ransomware and malware. Our users were click-happy and despite us telling them to use better judgement and us tightening up our filtering services, we were still experiencing issues and eventually found KnowBe4. Once implemented, we had zero incidents or attacks moving forward.
