Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training
We use KnowBe4 across the entire organization. The training modules we use include Security Awareness, HIPAA compliance, and HR type videos. We use phishing campaigns weekly to test our users knowledge, and if need be, apply remedial training. This has helped us avoid countless phishing attempts against our staff, which is our first line of defense against cyber security threats.
- Thousands of different training modules available, which is great because each business can decide how exactly they want to train their employees. Also, if one training campaign is not received well by users, you can change up the learning style of the training you choose for them.
- The built in templates for phishing campaigns are great, and you can select them by level of difficulty.
- I would change nothing.
- I am the sole IT staff here, and I haven't had to deal with a malware infected machine in almost two years. It has reduced risk in our environment that I can't reasonably measure.
- My users have become security-aware and cautious in their online interactions.
I used a trial of Cofense before making a final decision. I got quotes from them and KnowBe4 and KnowBe4 seemed much happier to work with a smaller business, and Cofense was a ridiculous cost compared to even KnowBe4's most expensive plan. I think their licensing is geared more towards businesses with user counts in the thousands, and they weren't willing to work with me on the price.

For us specifically, we don't change up our training modules often, so this isn't a factor in why we like KnowBe4 so much. We have 4 specific training modules that we refresh annually. If a user never clicks on a phishing test, they don't have to do any more training than that.
I do like the publications though, I frequently print out PDFs for awareness posters in the break room.

We sync with Active Directory. In AD, I have a KnowBe4 users group, and if you're a part of that group you're made a user on KnowBe4.
