Overall Satisfaction with Kronos Workforce Ready

It is used across the entire org and helps us track work time efficiently and helps us know when everyone is working. It keeps all of our timecards organized and helps protect us from lawsuits and worker dissatisfaction by providing one source of truth related to timecards and worked hours.

Pros

  • The hardware is the industry best--we never hear any complaints about the card swipe machines or their usage
  • Easy synchronization with other software platforms like Nortel, NICE WFM and many more
  • User facing portal is simple to use and lets everyone keep up to date on their usage and accruals

Cons

  • We could use better customer support--the few times when we have questions it's not always easy to get ahold of someone.
  • Positive, it helps us ensure we aren't paying any unneeded overtime.
  • Negative--support is a bit pricey, and implementation also.
  • Positive, helps us balance compensation with industry standards.
Kronos definitely beats out the competition in terms of user-friendly features and simple "it works" functionality. We tried using several other payroll suites including Paychex and found they were lacking in a number of areas especially in terms of user interface. Our employees literally groan when they remember using these older systems, they absolutely love Kronos in comparison.

-Everyday usage as a timecard/swipe machine.

-Keeping track of hours worked and PTO accrual.

-Solving disputes between employees over schedules and time worked.

-Keeping relationships between salaried and hourly caregivers equitable.

-Replacing old fashioned pencil and paper systems that were error-prone and slow.

-Call-ups of records any time of day/night.

-Location agnostic.

-Supervisors and leaders can view records of all employees.
