Overall Satisfaction with LinkedIn Sales Navigator
LinkedIn Sales Navigator is being used across my entire organization, and has been part of the foundation of our research processes. It addresses the problem of allowing access to the world's largest database of professional profiles, complete with education information, career history, articles posted, blog posts created, and contact information. It also functions as a communication platform by allowing us to directly reach out via the platform to connect with various people in a safe and efficient forum.
- It has a very easy to use interface, with accessible buttons and links.
- It allows for complete profile customization, with various fields and article posting capabilities.
- It allows for efficient search mechanisms with various advanced options and filters.
- They often update their software / platform, which though it is easy to use, can be confusing as buttons move around and processes change.
- The site crashes fairly regularly, likely due to the sheer volume of data and the number of active users. It can be quite frustrating in that it takes sometimes an hour or more to come back online.
- It isn't always the easiest to search - sometimes searches disappear, aren't saved, and crash. It can be annoying.
- Faster lead identification and lead connection in that there are direct message options.
- Sales navigator has had a positive impact through ease of large data searching - we can quickly look through large numbers of people.
- The ability to view in private mode allows for stealth searching.
- Allows us to create an alumni page and continue communication with our alumni.
- Has facilitated social selling and marketing promotion through allowing publishing and posting to the professional network.
Honestly there is no other product that has as comprehensive a network and database as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, aside from LinkedIn's free option. The free option has several downfalls though - one, it's a much clunkier interface platform. Two, it doesn't allow for as many advanced search options. Three, it doesn't allow for private viewing mode and for full exposure to who has viewed your own profile, which is quite helpful to identifying leads and engaging them. Other than Facebook, there's no network as great as LInkedIn's and Facebook isn't professional in nature.
