Overall Satisfaction with LogMeIn Rescue by GoTo
We use it for supporting internal endusers, as well as for supporting public individuals and business who use our services.
Pros
- Provides connectivity to almost any device
- Allows full control of a device once connected
- Offers additional options like administrative access w/o repeated prompts, reboots with auto-reconnect, etc.
- Persistent connection options are available for frequently-supported devices
Cons
- Controlling a remote Mac can be problematic
- Connecting to multi-monitor systems sometimes causes issues
- Still requires a baseline level of human interaction to get a support session connected
- No strong impact overall, our use case is more edge
I wouldn't say that it does?
I am not sure how it would ensure security. I guess it allows for more secure remote connections, but not in any way that has a significant impact on the organization.
Pretty much identical to the GoTo products
