Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp

We use Mailchimp to contact out 14,000+ email subscribers 1-3 times a week. great product! the only down side is *if* a user wished to be removed from your system, you have to go in and manually do it there is not an auto option. as a nonprofit that isn't horrible and does not ahppen often but i can see it being so if you have a much larger data base.
  • Search engine for subscribers is easy to use
  • power through spam filters
  • respect the recipients as well as us the user.
  • Auto unsubscribe for users. right now we manually have to remove or update someone's information on their profile.
  • For the size of out non profit org this handles out needs very well.
  • It has been a quick ROI for us being able to share events and giving opportunities for our non profit.
When it comes to mass emailing lists. Mailchimp has been better for us (roughly 14k emails per hit). we use both programs here but we defualt to Mailchimp in this regaurd and RE in others because we have had more success with Mailchimp.
Other than updating or having other unsubscribe easily this is a wonderful system.
We only use Mailchimp's simple packages for mailings. we market elsewhere.
I would rather have reliability of delivery, like Mailchimp gives us than focus on little inconveniences such as updating user info.

Do you think Mailchimp delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Mailchimp's feature set?

Yes

Did Mailchimp live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Mailchimp go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Mailchimp again?

Yes

Frequent Updates to your followers is great! Targeting specific groups in that data base, I have less experience with because we use other platforms but I would like to use an all in one program if possible.
