Great Choice for Email Marketing
Overall Satisfaction with Mailchimp
We used it initially for email campaigns, though a bit costlier and doesn't support complex mobile app engagement options like Push notifications and in-app engagement, we planned to move out and use another tool. But it's one of the superior tools out there for your email needs, glad that they have also introduced landing page options now. Segmentation of your data is also relatively easy if you have your data stored in the right manner. I have always found the performance data to be more accurate for Mailchimp as compared to any other tool.
Pros
- Segmentation
- Email Marketing
- Landing Pages
Cons
- Costing
- Mobile Engagement
- Customer Behaviour Reports
- Increase in user engagement
- Better Delivery rates
- Increase in sales
Mailchimp is more premium than these tools, in one of the use cases, I have now been using them for landing pages, even if I don't run email campaigns. The tool is seamless with strict rules around spamming and unsubscriptions. You can trust deliverability with Mailchimp. SendInBlue is not that robust and Netcore can't be trusted with delivery rates.
We haven't really used it to its full potential as we are a mobile app-based company and we do more of mobile app engagement - which Mailchimp doesn't have at the moment. But we have used Landing Pages, EMail Marketing and Social media sometimes. The media library is also a great tool for us.
It has always given good performance reports which helped present the same to higher management. The AB testing features and dynamic content allowed me to run robust dynamic campaigns. Also, the most important lesson I have learnt with MailChimp is controlling the quality, this is one tool that makes its users understand the importance of running quality campaigns and not spam your users.
