Overall Satisfaction with Marketo

Marketo is our source of truth and the way we as a marketing team work. There isn't a real way we could do our jobs without Marketo -- to send emails, nurture our clients, and get data to make decisions for our team and the company as a whole. I wouldn't really ever recommend going off Marketo, as there isn't an equivalent that can do it better than them. It may not be pretty but it is powerful.
  • Email marketing.
  • Lead management.
  • Lead nurturing.
  • Data and analytics.
  • Reporting.
  • Could use more support and integration for Adobe.
  • Product Launches
  • Upsell
  • Cross-Sell
  • Lead Management
  • Prospecting / New Business
We want to drive growth and get more leads really. All the time we're working with our existing clients, trying to up-sell them and sell different things. Our goal on events is to drive SQLs from MCLs, and to get people to ultimately buy our product solution. It's a long sales process and Marketo helps us track things.
HubSpot is nice for those who want to start doing things with marketing automation, but it doesn't hold a candle to what you can do with Marketo -- the level of customization and the power and the ability to customize the API and the integration with Salesforce. HubSpot is nice and pretty, but Marketo is powerful.
If you are a larger-ish company that is serious about marketing automation, then you owe it to yourself to try Marketo and use it. HubSpot and other solutions don't hold a candle to the enterprise level support, options, and power that Marketo gives you when you use the software.
