Overall Satisfaction with Marketo
Marketo is being used by our whole organization, but most notably in Sales and Marketing. The primary use is to optimize the marketing team and provide analytics to further improve sales and marketing objectives and strategy. There are other objectives addressed, especially in regard to our content's effectiveness.
- Lead lifecycle management is particularly effective -- the ability to incorporate/revise models on-the-fly
- Engagement programs are great and provide a nice, visual approach to organizing larger programs and cadence
- Flexibility of design regarding the organization of marketing/operational programs
- Much of my critique is around the ability to truly clone workflows (smart campaigns) and UX of the design studio -- but much of this is being "teased" by Marketo Sky (although it's too early to truly stress test the new UI).

- Pardot and Oracle Eloqua
Pardot (at the time) wasn't as feature-rich compared to Marketo. Eloqua (as I've inherited) appears to be powerful, but IMHO is geared toward larger, more complex marketing teams.
