Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use Miro all the time! I personally use it to brainstorm ideas, make affinity diagrams for my research, make project timelines, etc. It helps work collaboratively and brainstorm various ideas in a creative way.
  • Flowcharts
  • Affinity diagrams
  • Brainstorming
  • I personally experienced while working with a colleague with ADHD. She was unable to focus while everyone was working on the document simultaneously. The continuous zooming in and out made the screen move too much for her to be able to read/contribute.
  • It is not easy to learn, especially for people who are neurodivergent.
  • Improved productivity because of better organization of ideas and timelines.
  • Great tool for working from home simultaneously.
Sometimes I find it hard to move around the space due to the wrong pointer selected. I feel that Miro is not as easy to use and needs a lot of practice due to the diversity of options. Ease of use and simple design could be implemented.
It's a web-based tool so requires no complex installation.
I have been using it with my workplace teams, my volunteer work in the classroom with grade 1 kids, my academic research lab, and even for my personal brainstorming sessions. I absolutely love it!

Has an element of creativity. Can work collaboratively also!
Extremely suited for classroom activities because it has a creative element. Great for meetings and brainstorming ideas. Great for making diagrams because of the drag and drop and pretty colors. Not well suited for people with neurodivergent disorders, beginners, children, older adults as it takes time to learn it.
