Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We use miro to do cross-country collaborative workshops. Anything from idea brainstorming to process mappings. We use it within Europe and within our division. It is a great tool because you see where everyone is navigating, so even if we are connected via Teams, we do not need to share screens which give more space actually to see our colleagues.
  • Real time collaboration
  • Amazing selection of templates
  • No space limitations
  • Easy to export
  • You cannot see who is collaborating unless they have a license.
  • The privacy settings when starting a team are not crysta-clear. Documents do not get automatically shared within the team
  • We cannot measure impact as such but I perceive a good impact on engagement.
We have only integrated Miro with Teams and it works well. I do not know of any other integrations available.
Definitely. It is the best tool to combine with Teams!
Microsoft Whiteboard tool app available in Teams doesn´t compare at all with Miro. So many functionalities are lacking. Miro is worth the price.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I love Miro. It is so intuitive and dynamic. You never get bugs and just works smooth. It is great for the new ways of working hybrid for collaboration regardless where everyone sits. I think it is a great combo to use together with Teams. It is easy to import data, for example from excel, into sticky notes.

Using Miro

  • Running collaborative workshops with remote teams
  • Process mappings
  • Brainstorming and mind-mapping
  • Get-to-know each other activities
  • Documenting 'old-style-on-paper' process mappings and transfer them to online tool (Miro) so we can consult it in the future
  • Collaborative, non-real time exercises.
  • To collect user stories and requirements
  • For process improvement
Due to my job as project manager where I often need to facilitate collaborative workshops with remote colleagues I cannot see how I would do this smoothly without Miro.
Power Point in SharePoint could be an alternative but the space is limited and you cannot grow a table as much as needed so this is still the biggest limitation.

Using Miro

The product is very intuitive and easy to use. I did not needed any get started guide other than the context-sensitive user guiding provided in app.
I create boards and usually share with other users for collaborations so all they need to do is use the sticky notes and write texts. For new users they might need some guidance on how to duplicate or delete but I´d say guidance is minimal.
