Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro for design project coordination, involving up to 15 people during meetings. I juxtapose drawings, photographs, and text, drawing arrows to explain logic.
  • The post-its and ability to link any object are intuitive to use and comprehend.
  • The “create frame” feature is useful for when you’re zoomed out, and want to see the ‘lay of the land.’
  • I appreciate the ability to paste websites and video links
  • I find the board gets very slow and has to keep reloading once I get to a certain number of items.
  • I feel restricted by the text limitations within text boxes.
  • To Export to images, I often have to reload the whole board before each attempt to export
  • Having visually engaging meetings for non-designers has improved collaboration across stakeholder divisions.
  • Having visually effective diagrams reduces the duration of meetings.
  • The sidebar note feature has been helpful for keeping a meeting’s agenda front and center no matter where I am in the board
Yes, Miro enables me to collaborate effectively with people in different offices.
The ability to ‘spread out’ items on an infinite white board facilitates being paperless.
Having all my visuals in one app eliminates the friction of switching between apps when I’m sharing my screen during a meeting.
The miroverse of templates has proved inspiring.
Miro has more features and add-ons. In Mural, for example, it’s not intuitive how to select objects or how to group.
Mural takes longer to load, which inhibits me from adding more objects, which could slow down the app even further.
Mural doesn’t have as many templates and doesn’t appear to have a supportive community.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro is ideal for visual collaboration and conveying ideas rapidly.
Miro gets cumbersome when images are large. Collaborative meetings are subject to how good your internet connection happens to be.
One feature I’d like to request is the ability to rotate an object more precisely.
The limited text boxes can hamper the flow of information placement
