Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

We use it to allocate graphic designers to job tasks as they come in.
  • Allocated artwork numbers for each job as they are created (with a third-party plugin).
  • Allows easy access to follow-up on jobs.
  • Automates our emails to send from the artwork system and integrates outlook.
  • Better notifications if automation fails.
  • The ability for formulas to be used as text fields.
  • Ability to send actual documents rather than links as email attachments.
  • Initial setup and learning curve: Implementing Monday.com may require some initial effort and training to set up the platform according to specific business needs and familiarize employees with its features.
  • Cost considerations: Depending on the subscription plan and the size of the organization, the cost of using Monday.com may be a factor to consider, especially for smaller businesses or those with limited budgets.
  • Enhanced project management: The platform provides a centralized hub for managing projects, allowing for easier collaboration, better task tracking, and improved project organization.
Additionally, while the interface is generally intuitive, there may be areas where users find it slightly less user-friendly or encounter some challenges in customizing certain workflows or boards to meet specific needs. Overall, Monday.com provides a decent level of usability, but there is still room for enhancement to make it more intuitive and user-friendly, especially for those who are new to the platform or have specific customization requirements.

Overall, my experience with Monday.com as a work management software has been positive. The platform has proven reliable in terms of features working as designed and uptime, contributing to improved productivity and streamlined workflows within my team. The intuitive interface and extensive feature set have been valuable for managing tasks, projects, and collaboration. However, one area where there is room for improvement is the implementation of document attachments to emails. It would be beneficial to have a seamless and efficient process for attaching and sending documents directly from Monday.com via email. This would enhance the platform's usability and convenience, particularly when sharing important files or collaborating with external stakeholders.

Monday is well suited to our organization as we can easily see our active jobs in one place. We love the way it handles some emails, but we wold prefer to be able to send files as files and not links for the attachments. I would like to see if there would be some different options for viewing rather than just filtering.
