Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

We have a rotating list of clients with ever-changing priorities, so monday.com really helps us parse out discrete tasks to individuals working on disparate projects. It's a way to help us cover all the details of the big picture of a project.
  • Shows visible development of a project from beginning to completion for workers and clients
  • Helps us break apart larger projects into step-by-step tasks
  • Allows us to store relevant information in one centralized location along with a communication board tracking the history of this to-do.
  • Sometimes the automation of who gets assigned a task or its deadline happens so discreetly that we can't tell when a mistake has happened - until it's too late
  • Synchronization with TrackIt for time-tracking sometimes glitches
  • Sometimes status changes on monday.com simply don't stick. Maybe it's a connectivity issue on our end?
  • I don't really have data on this! I think it has made us more efficient, from my qualitative perspective. We seem to spend less time wading through Google Drive, searching for all the documents we need and asking people what to do next. But, like I said, I don't have access to hard data on our ROI for monday.com!
Overall, it works with a smooth flow - very few tricky components. Sometimes, it seems like TrackIt gets derailed. For a little while, I had to go to a task on its individual board to track my time rather than being able to track it all from my personal to-do list view. That was a little clunky but not the end of the world. Monday.com has not really worked for me on my phone. It takes a long time to load (maybe not your problem), and the view seems too zoomed-in and confusing to navigate.
I haven't had to use Monday support, as far as I can remember!

Monday.com is great if you have a small/medium-sized team trying to get many projects done at once. It helps you organize multiple simultaneous projects with different and overlapping deadlines. It encourages you to focus on breaking down a project into specific, sequential to-dos, like "Compile research list of relationship therapists in Delaware." It helps you communicate with other co-workers along the way. Rather than having to search for the relevant Google Doc, image, history of progress, it's all there in one task (if used correctly, haha). The small struggles with tracking time and navigating different project board permissions and maneuvers are well worth the functionality of Monday.
