Overall Satisfaction with OneCause

The main reason for our decision to use the OneCause product was to expand our capabilities at our fundraising gala, especially for our silent auction.
  • Manage donations
  • Operate a silent auction
  • Manage donors
  • Startup is difficult when you are a new user who doesn't have a lot of time to spend watching videos of how to do simple tasks.
  • This is not as convenient as it could be for fiscally sponsored programs. Fiscally sponsored programs can not easily print report to send to donors & sponsors since they operate under one name and function under another organizations 501(c)(3).
  • The inability to edit events without having to contact customer service is not convenient.
  • Startup is difficult when you are a new user who doesn't have a lot of time to spend watching videos of how to do simple tasks.
  • Although it is a great way to manage your event, the amount of time that is necessary to learn everything at startup is a downside.
  • This did streamline the process of ticket purchases and event management saving time in the long-run
  • If this were to start charging a ticketing fee, this would quickly remove the appeal of the program, overall
  • The option for the donors to cover the costs of the credit card processing, overall, saved us money.
Overall it is easy to use IF you a) have a general knowledge of how programs work or b) have the time to spend watching videos and reading articles. This would be a lot better if there were a zoom meeting or other training session a person can take to learn it all at once.

This is great to manage your event, including registration. Whether it is a live or silent auction it is a great way to manage your donations, packages and your bidders.
