Overall Satisfaction with Outreach

It takes a few weeks to get comfortable with the system, especially if you are switching from a different outbound management tool like Salesloft. I do find that I get lost in the system when I'm trying to track something down; I don't like how you are taken from the Prospects object to the Sequences object to the Emails object without intending to. It's easy enough to get the hang of after watching a few of their support videos/demos.
Outreach is being used by 6 individuals on our sales team (5 senior enterprise sales reps, 1 SDR). We run all outbound campaigns through Outreach, and it also helps us log and track communications with prospects into SFDC. It also allows our senior reps to know when prospects have opened/clicked on emails.
  • SFDC Connection/Integrations are very strong.
  • New calendaring feature is great.
  • Our CSM is extremely helpful and supportive.
  • Navigating the UI can be a little confusing, hard to know *where* you are in the system.
  • Expensive! the VOIP calling package is costly.
  • Freed up time for our senior reps
  • Allowed us to shrink SDR team size due to productivity
  • Sales Loft and Yes Ware
Outreach won out over Salesloft because of their focus on product innovation and their super-tight integration with SFDC. I felt like I was getting a better value for the money with Outreach. They are continually working on adding new features and functionality to the platform.
Outreach shines for targeted outbound campaigns, and enables a large team of SDRs to work cohesively and coordinate their outreach efforts. It allows for great transparency. It's more difficult to find use cases for our senior enterprise reps, who don't typically blast 10+ emails with the same content. For them, the snippets feature is great, allowing them to drop in a few lines of text, as well as the tight integration with SFDC, which removes the manual work of logging emails.
