Overall Satisfaction with Parallels Remote Application Server

One of our major clients uses Parallels Remote Application Server and has over 500+ end users. The software allowed simplified deployment and management of custom Apps including security group management and granular personalization based on user login. This addresses the problem of requiring each remote desktop server previously have non-standard apps installed with no standard build. It was previously a major headache when patch Tuesday came around. Parallels Remote Application Server solved that! We reviewed the customer's requirements both internal Lan-based customers and those working remotely We investigated the large number of out of the box and custom and often ageing applications and found that all of them were easily deployed and managed by Parallels.

Outranks all competitors in both cost, support, and functionality. The others are getting too large and don't offer support for small to medium businesses with custom needs and non-standard applications and build. I used the top 4 brands in a previous corporate office, where ITIL was implemented and followed. It is easier to work with a company like Parallels in regards to refining and maturing business processes as they will actually work with your team and not just force you to comply with their predefined standards
Our company never had virtual desktops prior to using Parallels as the cost to set up seemed to be great when scoping Citrix or Amazon. Parallels is a great alternative and are compatible with many of our custom and aging systems
All staff from level 1-3 reported excellent feedback from using the interface and apps
Flexibility is super important to us and our larger customers. Being across multiple platforms meant we can use a single product to solve many problems at various infrastructure configurations
Security is paramount to us and our customers. We produce monthly reports and this is a big selling point when using Parallels Remote Application Server, the granular permissions were perfect without being confusing, and MFA and SSL are also easy to deploy. We have noted a 25% reduction in the number of service desk tickets for security-related concerns, such as breaches or even password resets.
Always keen to see the alternatives to the big 4/blue chip companies and if you prefer personalized support behind a truly well-written and ingenious application then Parallels is the one for you

Great for any sized MSP, Small to Large, or a corporate customer with a large user and software base. When not connected directly to the company’s server I can remote into any of the applications that I need to with if not at the office. Perfect when traveling or remotely or at home when a problem arises, I can pull out my computer and remote directly to all my work data. Ideal for centralized deployment and management of multiple proprietary applications with a great cost/benefit ratio
