Overall Satisfaction with Paycom
We use Paycom for performance reviews, tracking pay rate changes and amounts, time and attendance, disciplinary actions, i9s, covid tracking, EEOC-1 reporting, and much more. Paycom has made things easy with reports as it helps us gather all of the information that we need
Pros
- Payroll - We use semi-monthly payroll and the system recognizes when people work overtime when the week crosses between 2 pay periods.
- Time and Attendance Changes - Very easy for employees to submit correction requests in Paycom
- Reporting - I can easily create reports based on what is needed.
- Clue - The covid tracker is amazing and helps us a lot with being able to track and report on our covid trends.
Cons
- Reporting - Some reports will not allow us to include everything we need in one report. Meaning we may need to run 2 different reports in order to get the information we absolutely need.
- Time and Attendance tracking

- Applicant tracking is amazing
It's just not great. Good for big businesses but not for a company of our size.

Everyday this happens. I have so many questions and Paycom's dedicated reps are always quick to answer the questions. I work with them to handle tax information.
We express to all use Paycom on their own by submitting punch change requests or pto requests. It's helped a lot by making employees self sufficient.

Evaluating Paycom and Competitors
Yes - I am not sure what system it was but we did replace the old system for Paycom as Paycom had everything to offer that we needed. As we grow, we are learning that Paycom actually has even more things to offer our company in terms of HR and payroll.

Every single one of these is important to us because we need to make sure that our system is compliant with the laws of each county and state that we operate in. We do not want to use a system that does not follow laws. We have learned that Paycom is great in that aspect.
