Paylocity is a great value for all of your payroll needs
Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity for onboarding, payroll and time & labor. I use it daily to quickly access any information about employees and the reporting is great. We've loved using it. The implementation process was smooth, the stock training modules are easy to assign and use and the payroll process for our bi-weekly payroll is pretty smooth and easy to use.
Pros
- Quick and detailed responses to any issues or questions
- Payroll process is pretty quick and easy
- Mobile app is also a plus for ease of use
Cons
- The reporting can be a little clunky and could use some improvements
- The integration between time & labor and payroll could be a little smoother
- The quickpay payroll entry screen could use some improvement
- We saved $13,000 per year over our previous payroll provider and got a much better product
- It has reduced the time spent on time tracking and payroll entry and processing
- Errors in deductions have been greatly reduced because of provided integrations with benefits provider and 401K provider
Our greatest benefit has been the automation provided by the integrations with benefits and 401K. We aren't using it for scheduling.
We haven't used those but have been considering implementing.
- Paychex Flex and Paycor
We switched from Paychex Flex because the cost seemed to be going up and up and the interface wasn't very good. Paycor and Paylocity both provided a much better looking interface and ease of use. It was a close call when evaluating whether to go with Paycor or Paylocity but we've been very happy with Paylocity
