Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for running Payroll and managing HR. Paylocity addresses ACA for us and takes care of it with little input from us. They file our taxes on our behalf, and they recently handled a letter from the IRS and straightened it out.

Payroll, scheduling, and time tracking have helped our business be more organized and on top of information.
Information is easy to find and helpful day to day.
We are still working to implement different parts of Paylocity into our business.
There are a lot of things Paylocity is capable of doing and tracking for you.
Employee Engagement tools have been slowly seen and used by employees. Most of our employees are not aware of it. We have some older employees who do not use the mobile app or website. Our younger employees love the ease of looking up paystubs, schedules, etc. We have had a few employees find Peer Recognition and use it to praise another employee. I'm not sure if that employee has seen the impression or not. I am notified as the administrator. I don't know if the employee is notified.
Paylocity can handle more detail and compliance than Quickbooks can. Quickbooks was great for our small business with only 5 or so employees.

Employee Experience is good. The cost is better than many others. It may have more features than a very small business would need. If you need a program with ACA tracking & reporting, Paylocity does well.

It is working well for us at this time. We have no need to change or spend any more than we already are. It's a costly but necessary part of the business.

Support was amazing at first. This last year with employee shortages, they are not as responsive or as knowledgeable.

Yes - No, sometimes when searching an employee in Time & Labor, it takes you to a different employee than the one you selected. They said that they are aware of the problem and are working on it.
During COVID. The support manager assigned to us was super incredible and knowledgeable. Everything was answered, and done, quickly, and smoothly and she was happy that I understood the program as much as I did.
