Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity as our HRIS, Payroll and Benefits Administration system. We do not use the time and attendance components of Paylocity as they do not serve the needs of our industry. Paylocity allowed us to integrate our needs into one main platform and connect with our benefits providers to make our processes more efficient.

  • Changing benefit classes without having to wait a day in between to add an intermediary "change benefit class" placeholder
  • Having the system recognize HSA maximums for individuals not just families
  • Better ease in pulling demographic data for employees
  • Decreased time to process open enrolllment
  • More consistent processes for running payroll
Paylocity has allowed us to utilize data in a different way to focus our attention on more contracts and proposals. We have been able to provide more robust metrics when we submit new cost submissions and data for RFPs. We have been able to easily view our organizational chart and determine if changes need to be made. Automated benefits system has streamlined our open enrollment and made our employees feel more at ease with the entire process.
This has had little to no impact for us. Our employees, because of the nature of our work, are unable to access the internet or their phones, during the day, so they cannot interact in this manner. For that reason, a lot of the tools for engagement don't really work for us and then other things such as the scores are not an accurate representation for our company. I wish there were ways to tailor certain tools to make the system more intuitive for what we use versus what we don't or cannot use.

Namely looked aesthetically appealing, but they were not able to implement anything they said they could doing the sales pitch. It was all fluff and no substance.

Paylocity is well suited for companies that do not want to tailor their system, but are okay with the system as is and are willing to build out their SOPs based on how Paylocity is already setup. Paylocity is well-suited for less complex companies. Paylocity is less appropriate for companies that have a lot of different policies and SOPs that they would like accommodated in Paylocity.
