Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for our timecard record keeping, Payroll processing and new hire onboarding functions.
  • Timecard records are very interactive for the employees and for management.
  • Dynamic reporting helps us in our compliance needs
  • Payroll processing is seamless and efficient.
  • Employees are able to login from their phones and see all of their pay/HR/timecard information at their fingertips. This keeps our employees engaged in the organization.
  • The paperless option can be more highlighted. Many emploess inadvertly select this in their accounts when they don't mean to.
  • The option for employees to login from their phones. If we can have that option but geolocated to particular company sites, that would be fantastic.
  • We have saved expenditures on Payroll processing and on onboarding thanks to Paylocity.
  • We are able to process Payroll quickly and efficiently every cycle, thus better utilizing our time in the finance department.
The HR onboarding module has helped us go paperless and made new hire processing much more efficient, quicker and helpful to the new hire. This has freed up our HR to focus on higher level functions such a talent acquisition and retention and training.

The reports function in Paylocity is very powerful and helps our management in making important decisions.
Employee engagement has helped in that it creates a forum where management is able to communicate with employees regarding important updates as well as allowing employees to engage in an organization wide setting.
In my experience, Paylocity has been far more intuitive, more flexible, has better user experience, and is better in pricing. That is why we had switched over the year when I started with the organization. Since that time for 7 years, we have not seen any competitor that can fulfill our needs or compete in pricing with Paylocity.

Our organization requires all employees to record their time worked during the week whether they are salaried or hourly. Paylocity in this function is very helpful. The timecards are very easy to use from both the supervisor and employee ends.

We have not had much success using Paylocity for the health insurance record keeping purposes as we use a third-party (The state if NJ) for our medical / dental insurance needs.

The HR&Payroll as well as timecard are fairly easy to learn and very straightforward.

Yes - The mobile interface is very easy to use. A complaint I have heard from our employees is that they are required to change their passwords often.
