Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We are using Paylocity as our HRIS system of record, LMS, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Survey database. Paylocity truly provides a fully integrated and comprehensive suite of HR solutions.
- Payroll Processing - Including all Tax Handling and Processing
- Talent Acquisition Suite - Allows for the digital handling of candidate to onboarding. Fully integrated background, E-verify, drug screening
- Established APIs with external vendors for Benefits and 401K
- Survey Management - Customized surveys for Employee Engagement and Customer Satisfaction
- Communities - Allows for online employee collaboration as well as site for employees to pull company documents such as policies and procedures.
- Functionality of the Mobile App needs to match web portal. i.e. Employees unable to access self-appraisals for annual performance reviews on the app. Employees will have to use their browsers on the phone to access. Also, Employees are unable to adjust their State and Federal Tax withholdings via the App. They need to log into via their browsers.
- Would like to see easier accessibility to establishing APIs (Application Programming Interface) from Paylocity to my own IT department. Attempted to do this and there was a PEPM (per employee per month) charge for this integration. Don't mind paying an initial set up but after that a PEPM seems a little steep. Be a better value-added partner with your clients in solving business problems. Huge area of opportunity and more than willing to discuss further with you.
- Auto Assignment of Expense Management Rules. Currently have to refresh the Expense Management rules to ensure that all employees are part of it. This should be able to be automated much in the same way Attendance policies are managed for various employee populations.

- Great platform for Employee Communication
Paylocity does what it achieves to do in this area. It is a comprehensive HR solution for small to medium size companies.
This has been something that we are actively trying to build upon for our employee population. We are using the video plug in to allow our principal of the company to speak directly to our employees and give regular company updates.
I have been with my current employer for less than a year. Coming into a Paylocity environment for the 1st time I am impressed with what Paylocity has to offer.
I would like to see Paylocity offer an in person "Meeting of the Minds" style meeting for networking and learning on items that are coming up.
