Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I use Paylocity daily. I continually audit our information to ensure there are no inaccuracies. I utilize the payroll function every two weeks. I use the reporting database to pull information for many projects. When we recruit, I use the Recruiting module for our complete recruiting and onboarding workflow. Paylocity has saved me a ton of time and hassle with the integrations into Vanguard for 401k and Employee Navigator for benefits administration.

  • Consistent upgrades to the platform.
  • Implementation accuracy.
  • W2 distribution.
  • Consistently knowledgeable phone operators.
  • Reduced time expenditures.
  • More consistent recruiting, payroll and 401k processes.
  • Better workforce visibility.
I have saved hundreds of hours in manual process tasks I used to have to complete prior to having Paylocity. The automation between Employee Navigator and Vanguard has been great as there is one less place I have to go to follow the trail of ensuring I have documented things everywhere necessary, which also leads to reduced chance of errors being made.
We have not used any of these items so I cannot comment.
Some of these other platforms were less expensive than Paylocity but lacked the integrations we sought. They also did not have the customer support and knowledge base Paylocity does. The demo for Paylocity was far more robust and curtailed our pain points than any other demo we attended.

Our implementation process was rather painful and inaccurate in areas that caused major issues with payroll. We had to request a partial refund of our implementation fees. I do like the ease and speed of being able to run payroll with the Paylocity system. I do like the interface and how easy it is to navigate for both myself as an admin and my team members as end users.
