Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Paylocity is used for Timekeeping and Payroll Processing. It is very difficult to get help with a question from my experience. I am new to Paylocity administration and I am not able to get questions answered. If I call to talk to someone, they just tell me to read an article or fill out a form (that doesn't usually fit my situation very well.) I am not at all impressed with this service.

  • Needs a more simple set up when all features are not being used
  • PTO balances aren't calculated correctly I feel

I wish this were the case. I have found that they have not succeeded in this in any way from my experience. I have wasted so much time tracking work hours and PTO because the automated system does not work correctly. I believe that it would work correctly if set up in the right way and I wanted to set it up the right way but I could get no one to help me.
I didn't have the time to explore these features because I am too busy fixing the essential functions of the system.

I would have liked to explore using some of the other services that they offer, but the ones that we do use are so difficult to navigate, it seems like an impossible task. I don't think it is well suited for any scenarios. The PTO balance errors were particularly exhausting and I never did get an answer on how to fix the calculation problems, despite asking many times.

Paylocity Support

I wasn't able to get answers to my questions. They just told me to look up an article or fill out a form first. I didn't feel like anyone really wanted to help me with the issues that I was having. I spoke to at least 3 different people about the same issues and never got answers.

Using Paylocity

It seems that the same data needs entered in multiple places to accomplish the same thing. Accessibility issues
