Overall Satisfaction with Procore
We implemented Procore throughout the Company about 3 years ago starting with any new construction projects. It has been a great move for us. It has allowed us to track in realtime all facets of a Construction Project. It also allows us to keep up to date anytime or anywhere through the web or mobile app. It allows us to share and transfer data in real time.
- Taking progress photos from the mobile app is great. It is a great and easy way for our Field Staff to snap photos documenting progress. They automatically upload, so the process takes very little time. We have found that we are getting more photos for documentation, because it is so easy.
- Submittals- The transfer of submittals between all of the parties is great. This is a huge time saver
- Email Notifications- The email notification is a great way to notify parties of action items. The like the overdue notification that best.
- Budgets- It would be beneficial to be able to enter hours when entering budgets. Labor tracking is a huge factor in construction
- It would also be nice to have a comments section in the budgets. This would allow you to enter in a short note or description by each line item.
- The time saving is unmeasurable.
- Time saved by looking back at closed (archived projects). All project information is in one location.
- Viewing project information anywhere (app of web). Priceless.
Submittal Exchange is limited in its use. It is basically a file sharing site. It works fine for that, but there is so much more to project management beyond sharing files. When using Submittal Exchange you end up using other products too. Procore allows us to track all facets of the project from one source.
