Overall Satisfaction with Procore

We've been using Procore now for a little over a year. The learning curve has been much quicker than I expected. Nearly everyone in the company is utilizing Procore. Accounting, HR, estimating, project management and even the field employees all rely on Procore for a variety of reasons. Our usage is actually growing as we learn and grow more comfortable. I feel we are just scratching the surface.
  • As a field director, the observations tool has proved to be very useful. It allows us to identify issues, direct action and follow up.
  • The ability to overlay "updated" plans and identify the changes on each sheet means fewer items are being missed.
  • The hyperlinks are a fantastic feature.
  • The app tends to grow in size on my mobile devices which means I periodically have to delete the app and reinstall it. That's annoying.
  • I wish the meeting agenda/minutes were more customizable.
  • I would love to see an asset tracking feature added to Procore. One of my biggest challenges is keeping track of tools and equipment on a job or moving from job to job. I'm looking into some pretty sophisticated tracking systems (Hilti On Track primarily) and wish there was a way to tie the two together or even see Procore coming up with their own.
  • Fewer items are being missed so things are being done right the first time
  • Better daily logs helps resolve disputes
We tried Fieldwire for a short period. I actually like Fieldwire's daily logs better than what's in Procore, but the other added features of Procore far surpass what Fieldwire was capable of doing.
Any large project(s) has numerous people and documents that need a central hub from which all can work. Procore is that solution. It allows users to all have access to the same information and input eliminating having to send separate emails or other communication. Fewer things get missed because someone didn't have the latest RFI response or plan revision. I don't see Procore as an asset for residential production builders or remodelers.
