Overall Satisfaction with Procore
I work for a structural steel fabricator and erector and our projects that go the smoothest are the ones that move through Procore. I wish every single one of our general contractors used Procore. Uploading submittals and RFIs is a breeze. The biggest benefit is being able to track where they are in the process. That can keep you out of hot water when the schedule is getting tight and you can reference right back to the submittal turnaround times. Being able to go pull design drawings that have been posted at will and being able to go find other subcontractor contact information is a massive help and time saver. No more waiting days for the project manager with the general contractor to send you the two drawings you requested.
- Submittal Tracking
- Tracking of Drawings
- RFI Submittal
- Job Contact Database
- It is still designed for GCs with Subs as an after thought
- Drawing Recognition is better but still not superb
- Offering additional training to its users that pay for Procore
- Time saver
- Keeps good records to keep everybody honest
- Saves on digital storage
We haven't integrated any other software.
We do not personally enter daily logs but we do receive updates from some of the site superintendents where we are currently working and those are a massive help. Especially when we are working on a multi-building site and they have everything labeled accordingly.
