Overall Satisfaction with Qualtrics

In my current department, Qualtrics is used to survey field advisors on training and event experience, analyze the responses and produce PowerPoint presentations for executives to understand the outcome. In other areas, Qualtrics is used to track attestations and to receive applications for programs. The latter is exciting for us. Instead of a human typing in data off of a faxed form, the data is loaded into the Salesforce.com, expediting the process as well as reducing the rate of error.
  • Fantastic customer service. I have never encountered better service anywhere else. They genuinely care about helping you.
  • Easy to use.
  • Instant, adjustable dashboards and other graphics (like a word cloud) that tell your data story. You can use them in a PowerPoint to help paint that picture for executives.
  • On occasion, the site is unavailable.
  • Without the data collected with Qualtrics, it would be difficult to measure engagement and effectiveness of training.
  • Increased efficiency at providing the right training aimed at growth initiatives.
  • Improved event experiences.

I found Qualtrics to be superior to the SurveyMonkey tool I used in a previous role. I prefer the look and feel of a Qualtrics survey and can easily identify in the surveys I am invited to take whether or not it is a Qualtrics survey or something else.

Another benefit is the level of security Qualtrics provides to safeguard your data. In an age where data security is a concern, I am comfortable with the protection Qualtrics provides. They are happy to share with you how they protect your data. When exploring other survey options, it was alarming to learn how other survey tools own your data and/or the lack of measures they take in protecting the data you collect.

Qualtrics offers great flexibility. It is not just a survey tool, it can be modified to do many other things. I have seen multiple examples of creative applications applied by other users in a variety of fields. They encourage creative use of their tools, so you do not feel so limited as to what you can do with it.

A newer function they have incorporated is the [ability to] have the survey start in the invitation email. The recipient answers the first question in the email invitation, then the user is brought to the website to finish answering the questions. This helps to engage the audience right away and increases response rates. Increased response rates give you better data.
