Overall Satisfaction with Quick Base

Quick Base is used across our company in all departments. We use it for everything: HR, Process management, Budgeting, and even activities.
  • Easy to quickly start using and start seeing value.
  • Available anywhere and doesn't require maintenance on our end.
  • Very flexible to work with our business processes.
  • On site integrations are getting better but aren't there yet.
  • To really do amazing things need to have some knowledge of coding.
We are able to use Quick Base to much more quickly get people who aren't "geeks" up and running to get their businesses processes out of spreadsheets and into the light. With some coaching most users like it and get the idea of making things work better. We are able to rapidly iterate on apps and quickly build up or tear down as needed.
The benefit of Quick Base is that normal people can work on it day to day. You can do some really cool things if you understand a little javascript or how to use the API but just getting the basics you can make any business process faster, more accountable, and more visible.
To get the basics up and running it is not hard. With a little understanding of how a database works and what relationships are you can be off and running. Quick Base provides a ton of training now to help start people on the path and make sure they are going to build something silly.

We have advanced knowledge from using Quick Base for a long time. This allows us to move very quickly and get exactly what we want out of the product. We have completely transformed how the business works and how long it takes to get things done. This has had a direct impact on our bottom line.
We all work on each other's applications all the time. With a small team here we are able to quickly make changes to applications on the fly and to understand what was setup and what needs to be changed in the application to get the desired outcome. Whether just adding a field or doing major brain surgery it is easy and simple.
Works well when people understand the underlying tech better, i.e. database creation and data structure. When you get how relationships work and how they are supposed to be set up you will get more value out of it. It is not good when forced down on people and managers try to track too much. It should be an additive to the business.
