Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase

Quickbase is used within our Quality and Food Safety Department only. However, we communicate data from Quickbase to departments throughout the organization. QuickBase addressed our need for a streamlined approach to inbound product inspections to improve internal and vendor communication and provides valuable data available for trending purposes.
  • Allows the ability to create valuable reports that can be used for data trending. The easy tool for creating reports and charts saves hours of time spent analyzing data.
  • Customization.
  • The mobile use of Quickbase could still use some work. Several formulas and other features are not effective or operable in mobile view.
  • Allow for real-time integrated data uploads. (CSV Sync allows for every hour but we need automated data uploads regularly throughout the day).
Building applications takes more time than deploying and maintaining. Once the building is complete the implementation phase takes no time. The ability to build and customize an application at our fingertips increases the time spent implementing IT solutions tremendously. Cookie cutter solutions available in our industry often take months to deploy. Whereas our QC solution using QB was implemented within 2 months from start to finish.
With general knowledge of Excel, anyone can easily learn Quickbase. There is a lot of trial and error involved at first that takes time but after the first few tables and forms are built it's smooth sailing. The help desk and community forum is extremely helpful to those with no "technical knowledge." Anyone who is willing to learn can easily use QuickBase.
  • Improving our ability to drive insights from our data
  • Improving collaboration across one or more teams
I've recommended Quickbase multiple times throughout our organization. So far I have not found a scenario where QuickBase would not be an appropriate solution.
