Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online

We use it for invoicing customers, paying bills (via check), and payroll.
  • Payroll is easy.
  • It's easy to compare reports like P&L and Balance Sheet from year to year.
  • The dashboard makes it easy to get a snapshot of your company.
  • The lack of forms customization is really terrible. It isn't malleable enough for the needs of different types of business.
  • The program runs WAY TOO SLOW! Every click takes too long to connect with the server.
  • It often has too many clicks to get to areas I use often. It needs to be more intuitive with fewer clicks to get to everything.
  • I wish had never switched to QBO. The desktop version was much better suited for our business.
It is NOT as good as the desktop version. The sales/use tax module is terrible and it isn't customizable enough. I wish we had never changed to QBO.
Current
It's good if you have a standard retail business. But it isn't customizable enough for other types of businesses. We have a company that offers short-term rentals. There is NO way to track inventory for rent within QBO.
