Overall Satisfaction with Raiser's Edge NXT

Currently, Raiser's Edge NXT is being used in the Development office by myself and the Development Director. We are looking to expand and open it to campaign solicitors, annual fund solicitors, and our Head of School. By doing this, we are removing the day to day data input of Actions, Notes etc., from the Database Manager's position and placing it in the hands of the solicitors; they are able to update the constituents records as soon as the meeting is over!

I highly recommend NXT - love it!
  • The ability to customize the constituent screen
  • ANALYTICS!!!
  • Almost instant updates to Raiser's Edge
  • While Lists are great, there needs to be a bit more functionality and field options, as well as the ability to export.
  • The security measures need to be more flexible in terms of what people can see. There are work arounds, but having built in options would make it much easier.
  • Operational Efficiency
  • Increased scalability due to cloud deployment
Yes we have. Given that we are such a small shop; efficiency is key for us and NXT has certainly helped.
We have benefited from using almost all of the Blackbaud suite; though we are not synced, there are still benefits of using all the products.
None - Blackbaud was it
It is well suited for non-development office individuals; such as the Head of School or solicitors in that they can update and have access to specific parts of the database and feel they are being given a tool to help them with their appeals and great analytics to support their work

Raiser's Edge NXT Support

I feel that sending people links to articles vs helping them via chat and phone if the issue is unresolved via chat is very poor customer service.
I remember when Blackbaud did have exemplary service - however - over the last few years, customer service as a whole (support, account reps and the satisfaction reps) has tanked. I'd rather figure the issue out on my own or work with colleagues prior to dealing with support.
