Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
It is being used for financial reporting for our organization, which does financial reporting for six different entities both CAD and USD based. It is being used primarily by the finance department, but we have been attempting to provide dashboards for senior leaders. Sage Intacct along with API programs like Nexonia has helped streamline accounting functions by helping us provide value-added financial reporting.
- Easy to Use. We have an intern(s) and they are able to understand and pick up quick.
- Flexibility. Being able to adapt reports quickly.
- Drill Down functionality. Being able to quickly drill down into data makes it easy to review with senior leadership.
- Multi-currency limitations. We have had issues and errors with this that we have addressed to Intacct, with no resolution. Also, we are not able to split invoices at the top level for different entities with different currencies.
- Top level limitations with dashboards. It is hard to view information in dashboards and reporting from different entities, something that would be of value to us.
- We have grown our business from representing two entities to six. This has given us scalability.
[We have benefited] a little bit. We have had difficulty with AR automation, but creating recurring GL and AP transactions have helped our efficiency.
We used global consolidations; it was easy to use but was limited. It did not allow partial equity and there was no option for it. It did not work with our organization.
Sage was more extensive than QuickBooks and that's why we used it; it allowed us to scale up.
