Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We use Sage Intacct primarily for accounting operations. It allows us to recognize revenue in milestones and bill on payment plans according to each individual contract.
- Duplication and recurring functions save time.
- Drill-down options from almost every screen are helpful.
- Dashboard gives great overviews customizable to each executive.
- The dimensions, groups of dimensions, and groups of groups get confusing--it could be simplified.
- Customer and vendor inquiry screens would be beneficial instead of always having to run a report.
- Reporting module data sets explained on each module screen are helpful.
- We do feel Sage Intacct is expensive for our company size.
- Buying software a la carte is not helpful, feels like getting nickeled and dimed.
The automation is better than doing the books on paper but comparable to other accounting systems.
Contract Revenue Management has helped us track deferred revenue automatically without jounral entries. The reporting for this automation could be better.
