Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Our company uses Sage Intacct for almost all accounting needs. Our use of the program ranges from creating and emailing invoices, A/P, journal entries, and amortizing prepaid expenses. Having most of our accounting needs met with a single program has made our job simpler. However, the biggest issue we have with the program is overall system slowness. The offline job queue can get backed up with thousands of jobs during the month, which can result in jobs we attempt to process offline failing due to timing out. Additionally, it can take over a week for prepaid expense schedules to generate and post entries. Contacting customer support will not result in an immediate solution if it requires their engineering team to look into the issue; we have support cases outstanding for months now. Overall, Sage Intacct meets our company's basic needs, but I would not recommend it if you want to implement multiple modules as their current program does not seem capable of doing so.
- Easy to use
- All inclusive
- Makes invoicing simple
- System slowness
- Customer support response time
- Printed doc templates can be frustrating to create
- Saves time on invoicing
- Wastes time having to deal with system slowness
The automation of journal entries being posted to the general ledger has been very helpful, especially in regard to the journal entries involved in the invoicing and receiving payment process.
We were mislead regarding the capabilities that Sage Intacct's multi-currency module could provide us. It is helpful that the integration shows the current day's currency translation rate and that we can receive payment in multiple currencies, but in regard to the invoicing needs that we have, we were left disappointed.
