Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We support a lot of client projects supporting SAP Commerce Cloud. Many of the clients involve us in the Platform selection phase and once the platform is selected, the implementation is supported by our team as well. At present, I have been working with large Energy and Retail clients on their implementation on the SAP Commerce Cloud.

Based on the overall package, the SAP Commerce cloud provides lots of options OOB for supporting multiple client requirements. It also provides flexibility to customize the code based on client needs. OOB Catalog management, user access management, and Promotion engine have been very helpful in supporting our clients. Overall SAP Commerce cloud deployment process is also smooth.

Ease of Integration

Integrations need to be easy to configure and available OOB for most of the known reusable Integrating points. At present, my experience has been not every project follows the same pattern for Integrations, but there has to be a set of standard guidelines and extensions for well-known integrations so that integrations can be done without any custom work.

Adobe Commerce (Magento Commerce)

Using Adobe Commerce Cloud as well for a few engagements. There have been multiple engagements where we help our clients to do platform selection where SAP Commerce Cloud is compared against Adobe Commerce Cloud, Commerce Tools, Spryker Commerce, and Shopify. Based on the client budget and list of requirements we help customers to select the best platform based on their needs.
