Use Cases and Deployment Scope

eCommerce shops b2b and b2c. we need to harmonize the technology behind webshops. we have 4 different Business units and not all are using the same solution and at various levels of maturity and needs.

Because it is an enterprise wide solution and we've used Commerce Cloud to manage Product information, plus it has strong integration platform and is headless in architecture.

Ease of integration to SAP ERP is the main selling point, we appreciate the out of the box integrations that it has

Alternatives Considered

Shopify

Shopify is SaaS and has its use cases, we chose Commerce Cloud because we are looking to launch at an enterprise level

Harmonizing webshops with one global solution that integrates well with SAP ERP. this is where and why we have Commerce Cloud as a solution. where it is less appropriate is where there isn't an SAP ERP that it can integrate to. I think this is the primary use case for Commerce Cloud
